Babel

Yesterday I went to see the movie "Babel". All I can say after seeing it is "GO SEE IT".
I was blown away with the story line as well as with acting. Anyone that likes the multiple story plot line should see this movie. I found it to be very exposed and raw.
It is one of the best movies of the year.

Emotional Literacy

I have started a new book. It's an old book I bought a while ago, but for some reason I have

resisted reading it. It's called "Emotional Literacy", by Claude Steiner. The reason I have

picked up this book is because I sense that greater control of my emotions is needed. There

have been too many situations in my life when I should have been able to deal with a lot of

emotions and stress, but I just melted down instead. I believe that this book will be one of the

tools that will help me learn more about my emotions and how to effectively control them.

If anyone feels like commenting on what they read or are reading, feel free to add a

comment.

Little obsession...

I found myself listening more to the music of Annie Lennox. I have always liked it a lot, and

considered her to be one of the top artists of this decade. Also, YouTube is an amazing place

for her videos...Always wanted to have all of them, but never could find a full collection. Now, I

have bookmarked several of my most favorite videos of all time. Anne's album "Medusa" is

probably the best of her contemporary work..sure here 80's music is amazing, but there is

some kind of melancholy that I detect, much subtler than in the previous albums by her.

I am kind of saddened by the fact that there aren't that many artists like her anymore.

Angels In America

I watched "Angels In America" for the zillionth time. Every single time I see it differently.
I remember when my father gave me this movie to watch and said that it was very depressing. After I watched it for the first time I didn't think it was depressing at all. It's funny how your point of view changes as you move through life. So, I just watched this movie again and feel kind of sad. There are so many suffering people in the world and so much anger and loneliness. all of this makes my heart bleed.  I do understand that there is  a lot of hope and light in this world as well, but for some reason the lower energy emotions always stick out more.
A part of me wants to do something about all of this. Open up my own organizations to help people suffering...I do realize that if I want to help others I first have to do help myself...hence the studying for law degree etc. I don't know what else to write...just had this impulse to write an entry online.....

A New Beginning

Posted on Sep 24th, 2006 by Stas : Reseacher of Truth Stas
Well this is my first posting in this great community. I am very happy that I found a community that I can finaly be proud to be a part of. I knew that a project like this one was probably out there, but after quite a bit of searching still haven't found anything worth being a part of.
It has been a long year for me and I just wanted to find a place where I can find people that share my views as well as oppose them. I have always lacked the presence of likeminded people in my life. Maybe by joining Zaadz my luck will change.
